I see a lot of OP threads...which is fine, people can think as they wish...but it all seems to be a lack of counter strategies. Ture, the Arbiter can cut through armies, but hes  certainly able to be killed with some good micro-ing. And Anders can be stopped with a decent rush by a competent player.

I don't play online due to living in a Rural area, but I do fight an auto 150 AI that cheats and has a Scarab in 7 minutes. So, I dont really see how countering or rushing a player is a big deal. Let me know what you think.

I think the game is amazingly balanced and ROBOT did a good job, people will always complain but if you ask me the game is perfect =)

For the most part it is but only a few minor tweaks needed, not this big list that has been released int the title update 3, I mean why nerf gauss hogs, as well as production time on hogs... wouldn't you only need one or the other. Among other things but game is pretty balanced for the most part.

Couple of things really:

 

Gauss needs this tweak and then some. Simply lowering damage multiplier against Heavy armour isn't enough, they need to lower it on building damage aswell.

Prophet needs to move the same speed as Arby/Brute Chief, he is far too slow now.

Elephant needs a 75% health boost.

Double Mac/Carpet bomb needs fixing in reinforcements.

 

Do these 4 things and I think we'll have a pretty perfect game, less the glitches.

all of those are ebing fixed and one was already fixed and now you want to unfix it?

The game is balanced, each leader is perfectly able to beat the other, people complain when their 'super' unit spam was beaten by counter units, then they say the counter unit is OP, it's a repetetive procession that needs to stop. This is not always how OP threads arise I realize, but this is a majority of them.

Why can't people actually think about things? If they can't spam one unit against the other the claim the other is OP, I've had enough of these and the moderators should step up on them. Mark them as spam and get them out of the archives of the forums.

I have a slight problem with the ease that a covie player can spam Banshees at only tech 1 and UNSC has to get to tech 3 to really counter it.  I'd love to see Marines really be effective against Banshees but that isn't the case since they can Boost around so quick.

i think this game is amazingly balanced, there are a few little niggles but that's to be expected.

hogs are a really good soft counter to banshees. in fact hogs are meant to practicaly be the UNSC early game.

I am a fine gentleman at this, but to me it seems pretty balenced. All that needs to be done is a small Warthog nerf, improved Wraith accuaracy, and some buffs for Grunts, Ghosts, and Cutter.
