    Opponent disconnects - I "resign"...

Playing this game for as long as I have has led me to witness some pretty strange things. Arbiter n00bs quitting a game while winning just because the hero unit falls in battle, prophets moving to specific positions in order to avoid the opponent's turrents from targetting them. But today, the thing that happened to me was just TOO MUCH.

You see, I was playing with this pathetic piece of poodoo who had obviously created a second account (recruit that can micro infrantry and knows how to stop a rush 1.30' into the game with the new XP system?Yeah right...) I attack him with a scarab and some wraiths at some point and as soon as he manages to M.A.C my bug the game freezes. After it resumes it says that the opponents has been disconnected.Yeah, that doesn't mean anything by itself, I know. You see, the thing is that after the "resign" I am still online, nice and normally but as soon as I check my stats on this site tud duh!The bloody thing says that I resigned! My TS on 1v1 falls by 1 followed by another delicious fall of my general skill lvl value.

So I ask you, plain and simple:WTF!?!Is it MY problem if my oppoenent, being a cheater as it seems, has a ******* connection and falls out of synch? Is it MY problem that the matchmaking is problematic, putting me against someone who, at least shows, as a recruit?

Balance stuff aside (imo the update was a joke but thats just my opinion) this is simply pathetic.I play this game with great zeal trying to improve my skill in the process.Losing stats because the matchmaking is buggy and the whole online gameplay is problematic...thats just rubbish ppl.

Interesting. I have not seen that problem before with HW. The only time I see irregularities with the game stats is when "There are not enough players to continue the game" message appears.

If you suspect cheating though you should report the game stats and the gamer tag to Robo. (HaloWars@robotentertainment.com)

Yes my friend, that is the message I was talking about. There is NO excuse for what happened, even if it is based on judging the victor by the highest score I am sure that I was in the 1st place...As for reporting cheaters I have no problem with that.Thing is I found no such section on the site you mentioned.

Please, keep your n00bish opinions to yourself.I understand that you get pwned a lot because you are clueless and that you cry every time you get rushed and I feel for you, but trolling in the forum will not make your condition any better.

Re: Opponent disconnects - I "resign"...

Ive made topics about that message before but havnt been able to find out why it happens. People just seem to encounter it randomly. I had that message appear almost 5 games in a row one night and the stats were random, somes wins, some losses.

Most nights though its perfectly fine.

Its a shame that in these situations where something goes wrong that it doesnt take the person with the highest score as the winner.

As for reporting, although its not mentioned on the site, if you did expect a cheat I would personally leave negative feedback and if I thought it was blatant possibly email that address.

Cant really help much on the problem, but would be interested how many people have also encountered the "Not enough players to continue" message.

Re: Opponent disconnects - I "resign"...

try getting some friends who play halowars and go play with them then you wouldnt have to make worthless posts complaining about the matchmaking.

Re: Opponent disconnects - I "resign"...

1st. There is NO way for you to know how and with whom I play this game.

2nd. Get a life instead of trolling in fora.

deanparkr, I wish ppl used the "review" button nicely placed at the bottom of their guide blade.Too bad most users find the whole notion of "making the community better" useless...

Re: Opponent disconnects - I "resign"...

ya you think that i die from rushes every time just because you and your n00bish skill works on the ranks lower than you?

no its just *** annoying when you see 2 fuking Anders and know there rushing, you counter the hogs and they resign...

and trolling really...is that the best you can cume up with?

Re: Opponent disconnects - I "resign"...

    Yeah.

I always try to leave feedback for players. If its been a good fun game whether I win or lose all players would get positive feedback.

If its not been very sportsman like (Triple, Double MAC blasting a base or something) I dont usually leave any feedback.

If its been a negative game (early quiters, bad language) then I use the appropriate feedback.

After all it only takes a few seconds to leave feedback and if everyone tried to leave feedback then people would care more about those 5 stars in the gamertag.

laxspartan007 - When was the last time you checked your stats? You have more defeats than there are trees in Africa so please, stay out of threads where people who know something about the game are discussing something.Enough with the TROLLS (since you enjoy the word) already.

deanparkr - I know what you are talking about man.I know ppl who get banned for days/weeks just because the n00bs send complains when they lose while the true cheaters just go on doing their thing. Its really pathetic but sadly, little can be done.

Re: Opponent disconnects - I "resign"...

happened to me my first game. it gave me hte fine gentleman no more and so lonely at the top achievments so I assumed it let me win.

It should let the the top three players win in 2v2 top five in 3v3 and both in a 1v1.

http://www.myhalowarshq.com/ Halo wars website. Fj is there...

    I HATE 3v3 resigners.
    I hate 2v2 resigners more.
    I Love 1v1 resigners.

Re: Opponent disconnects - I "resign"...

Menumber1 I dont think that "giving away" the victory to the top scorers would solve such an issue. In that case, everyone would be able to just turn of their router as soon as they got ahead in the score and that would be it: W1n, just like that.

It should simply give the winning point to the one that stays in the lobby. So simple.

Yeah you should see when it happens to six people on 3v3, I think it's still in my stats, so you can take a look. I'll edit with the link later.
