    Covenant armies vs. Human armies

What are your opions on the strenght of Cov. and Hum. armies?

Do you think that on average Cov.army is going to be stronger or will they make new units to balance this?  My opion: I hope Cov. are stronger but weaker in stratiegy like in the Halo books.

Also what do you think about how the units are going to be. Are they going to be in squads (Like the Xbox360 game BFME2) or are they going to be individual (Like in AoE)?My opion: I am not sure. Maybe make squads of infantry and individual tanks pelicans ect.

     Post your thoughts.

he meant overall, like will the basic infantry be stronger for one side? and tanks?

not about actual squad/armies just the overall strength towards one side or the other

i hope the balance it well, maybe give each side 1 unit that there is no equivalent or easy counter available on the other

Re: Covenant armies vs. Human armies

ive said it over and over again so ill try it more detalied this time so ppl can understand my point.

humans are on a loosing war. wasting resources is very stupid and considerind their extremely small numbers they have to make each unit count for as many as they can. thats why humans dont have cannon fodder units like the grunts.

this makes each unit fairly expensive, because the armor and weapons have to be the best out there, if humans really want to survive. also with a lot of training in the end humans have just a small but very powerful army. thats what makes each human ground unit better that its covie counterpart.

but costs ruin the whole thing. i remember reading somewhere that the spartans had costed as much as a new fleet and thats why they made the s3 project.

so on one side we have few powerfull and on the other side many weaklings. many have compared humans to starcrafts terrans and covies to protoss but thats just done the bad way. plasma aliens wont be everywhere plasma aliens. protoss are very few in numbers. so covies should be zerg and humans protoss. at least in the cost/numbers/firepower relationship

Re: Covenant armies vs. Human armies

Who cares how much Spartans cost. Their kill efficiency is way better than a fleet or a brigade of marines.

Anyway back on subject. I still think that humans= (or close to elites) but >grunts, jackles, and other small slimy things and <  brutes (depending on armoment) and defintly < hunters.

But human tanks way>>>>>>>>wraiths. B/c of direct fire and macine gun for infantry. Human tanks pose a threat to even banshees. Just face it tanks always pwn everything...almost.
