Devilmingy: Actually, I'd like to disagree with a few things. The Halo 1 instruction manual will tell people about Harvest and the Spartans. Even if you didn't read that, it's pretty obvious in the context that there were more Spartans and Harvest was a human world.
This I dont disagree with, however Halo Wars is the first game to actually employ multiple Spartan-II's in one combat theater. Ones that are visable atleast.
Devilmingy:Multiple Arbiters was a concept introduced with the Arbiter in Halo 2. I don't believe any novel elaborated on it any more than that cutscene.
I do not dispute this either, though Halo Wars did bring further definition to the Arbiters during the Human/Covenant War. As Ripa 'Moramee was the 17th Arbiter in the line of the Immaculate Succession while Thel 'Vadam was the 20th Arbiter (no line spesified). Thus it appears that there were atleast two if not more Arbiters who served in the Human/Covenant War. (not the "confirmed" 4 that Halopedia suggests).
I say that Thel 'Vadam's line is undefined as there has been no data given from either Bungie or Microsoft to lable him from any particular line. Thus the idiots at Halopedia assumed he was part of the same line that Arbiter Ripa 'Moramee is a part of.
Devilmingy: Once again, the concept of a shield world and "FTL" could be deduced by looking at them within the context of the game. Even if you can't figure out what a shield world exactly is, it's not like it's a very important part of the story.
I dispute your Shield World arguement. Halo Wars is the only game what so ever to show a Shield World, bar none. Not even the "planet" we see at the end of Halo 3 is a confirmed Shield World. At this point it is just another planet.
And only two times in all of Halo 3 was there even the slightest mention of the Shield Worlds, and those come from terminals 5 (which only refers to facilities in an "Onyx Project", of which we dont have a clue, just assumtions) and 7 (where they are possably refered to by the words "shield of privilege" though this is also assumed, not confirmed).
So I conclude that Halo Wars is the only game in the Halo series that deals with Shield Worlds.
The FTL thing is not something that bothers me. So your point can stand.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, Halo Wars is the first game in the Halo series to make me vomit because of the Flood being in the game. Not a good move but whatever, I wasnt payed to make it so whatever.
