You have 3 Marine rifle companies advancing on an enemy fortress.The one on the rightis taking murderous fire and its attack is halted. The one in the center has come under heavy enemy attack and is slowly advancing with heavy losses.  The one on the left has been counterattacked and its attack is quikly crumbling.

You have in reserves 3 tank companies and 3 artillery batteries.

How do you use them to stregthen youre three companies?

you have two tank companies reinforce the left that has been counterattacked and one go up the middle to strengthen the center's advance... you then fire one artillery at the center and the other two at the right....

 

that should leave all 3 of the teams of marines able to do their jobs

2 artillary for center side. 1 for right. support the left and the right with tanks. use the third tank to flank the fortress. Have the center push though and flank left there by creating a pincer movment. right should push because of the 2 artilliry.

or you could just hold your tanks back and use the artilliry to blow everything up and send in the tanks to do clean up and assult.

whichever one you like.

objective is to take a fortified town umm 2x4 miles  aproaching from the west 7:00 A.M. or  0700 hours whichever you prefer.  SSG you never said you redirected the artillery from the left. Town sits on a 45 degree slope upward on west side. same daylight hours as Earth

Move Your Tank Companies up to within a half klick of your infantry companies. Next order your artillery support to lay down a smoke barrage just outside your infantry’s perimeter. Order your infantry to withdrawal one platoon from each company at a time. Once your infantry has regrouped combine the weakest company with the other two, and send one to both flanks along with a tank company each. Wait for dusk or nightfall, then order your third tank company to launch a diversionary attack straight at the enemy, while both your combined infantry and tank companies attack the enemy from his rear right and rear left flanks. Order your artillery to concentrate fire on the enemy fortress until either the enemy surrenders, or your units are too close to safely fire anymore.

Marines pull back and hold postion. Then the artillery and tanks bombard the fortress into submission. Simple I'd think of something better but i love bombarding things

it is simple and could work but suppose there was a time limit.im not saying there is cause theres not but suppose you did. Who wants the awnser
