Raptor341:>> Well, after skimming over all the books again nothing is said of human fleet vessels flying in atmosphere, just as i remember. The Spirit of Fire should not be able to fly in atmosphere using any known tech, so im going to assume that once again its a "gameplay" and "storyplay" pick. Im not sure what other peoples thoughts on it is but doesnt halo wars ( though well done ) at many times go against things laid out in the Halo story. Also, anyone wonder why there is only ever one CCS class ship around the PoR ( save for the one that is destroyed over Arcadia ). Unless the rest of the Cov fleet is truly far and away. Anyone else have ideas or thoughts on these things?
there are many things that bothered me with the "story" of halo wars.
To address your point at the Covenant "fleet" at Arcadia. The only time the Covenant would go to land to engage in land battles, were if Forerunner artifacts were on it. Also, they would bring a lot more ships. If anything, ten or maybe atleast eight would have gone to fight, which confuses me as to to why the covenant went to Arcadia with only two ships.
