I don't really see a difference other than it being a slow, solitary piano with sparse notes played to a slow tune. IMO, MCR sucks anyways, and I doubt Ensemble would take the tune from Black Parade...

If they stole that, then most metal and rock stole Beethoven and Mozart.

Unless it is EXACTLY the same, which it's not, then they didn't steal it. It's called inspiration, I know it's not seen often with newer generations.

Re: Halo Wars Stole theme song?

To me, only the first 2 notes sound similar (i think they are the same note), the the third note sounds off tune (compared with HWT), then the rest have no similarity apart from the fact that they are both high (2 octaves above middle C i think), slow piano keys. MAYBE ES was influenced by this but i doubt it. After all, the proper song sounds nothing like HWT (HWT pretty much sounds the same all the time except for a few added chords), and of all songs, why would ES be influenced by this one? Also, the notes of the other song are just opening notes, while the HWT is complete and sounds WAY more epic.

Someone posted the same thing on Bungie.net about the Halo Theme song stealing a five second riff from another distasteful metal/rock band.

I sense a craving for attention, perhaps?

    O. M. G.

The first 2 notes are the same but the rest sounds in no way even remotely similar to the Halo Wars theme aside from the fact that they're both piano solos, so how you jumped to the conclusion that Ensemble stole their song is beyond me. I highly doubt the HW theme was even inspired by that song, to be honest.

The Halo Wars theme is simply a slightly tweaked version of the Halo 3 theme with a piano in place of a chorus. With the exception of Bungie, Ensemble didn't rip anything from anyone... least of all My Chemical Romance.....

    Or your just a fool.

I would place my bet on the latter. That's just my opinion.  The likely hood of a top rate Game Design company stealing a song from a Third Rate band is very slim.
