To me the most satisfying thing is facing someone who is your match in every way. I love games where I rush, just to get countered, but I beat the counter attack and the game goes on for a long time. I love when at no time do I feel confident of the win because my enemy has proven himself worthy. I like to win those games, but I don't care if I do because I can't deny the fun I just had facing this person.
Kids like to throw the term noob around just because they lose to rushing, but the truth is that strategy isn't about brute force tactics. I'd say noobs skip rushing, thinking they are saving money for the real game enders, mid level players rush, upper mid players develop a long strategy that includes early, mid, and late game strategies so they are never unprepared... but the masters use smoke and mirrors to distract, control, and contain their enemy.
For the record I don't consider myself a master, but I would say most kids fall under the mid level rusher catagory.
My best "master" moment was when I was being leader rushed (which I saw because of early recon) and I hid my warthog behind their base. when I saw their leader (arbiter) get to my base I used a pelican to drop several cyclops next to my warthog. Sure my base was barely defended, but I was able to keep him distracted enough while my cyclops took out his base (much faster than he took out mine).
