1v1 has some of the best maps. For me it's a tie;

Chasm. Gotta love that mega turret and those laser gates!

And Release.....the Flood! *throws his hands in the air like Mr. Burns* 

 

Although, am I the only one that thinks there should be more than just 4 maps for each multiplayer game type? I've a feeling it will get stale very quickly. Another 1-2 maps per gametype would be ideal prior to and DLC

Terminal Morraine is the worst Cutter map ever.  If you are a true Cutter fan, Crevice is by far the best map. Double basing allows for so much here. 

1v1- Chasms: Makes me nostalgia

2v2: Crevice- Double base brute rush

3v3: Exile- double double base brute rush (yes you read that correctly) :D

picked what I think offer the least amount of leader screws. I hate it how you can't pick leaders adter seeing the map.
