Several styles of play are involved in RTS.

So whats your style. Do you Turtle, or build dozens of defenses and strong defense based army.

Rush, immediatly train alot of cannon fodder that are easy to kill but try to knock out your enemy ASAP

or Resource, build medium defense, and then gather resoruces being economic powerhouse.

Im a mix of Turtle and Resource

Oh yeah. NOOB style, ask all your friends for resources, screw defense, build airpot, make several FLying Bricks, as soon as MAC gun ready you hit use on enemies, ask friends for more resources build a buncha marines screw upgrades send in marines and flying bricks. While doing all this your enemies make large strong army outside gates and as soon as yall go outside are slaughtered except for bricks which get shot down quickly.

How about a balanced style?

I use a mix of guerilla and lure tactics, say if my infantry is underattack by a gunship, I let them follow my infantry to were my Anti-Air is stationed

I usually turtle...but i think halo wars may bring the hit and run tactics out in me. x]

I have several ways of possibly building up my base and army, but not having played the game, i dont know if i could actually implement them.

gah...i cannot wait for this game...

Hopefully if i play some of you voer live we can play, make, and show of strategies. Becuase im pretty sure most of us on here will have a slight advantage when playing n00bs.

Mixture of turtle and resource, if more than 2 players/AI, i let my enemies destroy each other while building up my resources, army, and base, then i crush whatever is left of my opponents.

capture a vital location ad fortify it , then let enemy try to take it and get slandered while i build up a huge army and attack the enemy from their flanks

Im more of a blitz/guerrilla style.  Im not going into any more detail than that.
