Fan Fic Writer of the Month

 

First off, I’d like to thank UNSC AI swift Redemption(Or Hammerboy now), Captain Qwerty and Vaulting Frog for their help with this.

 

Greetings and welcome to the Fan Fic Writer of the Month Thread.

 

This thread is here to award all the hard working writers on this site.

 

Each month we will nominate and then vote for the Fan Fic Writer of the Month.

 

Nominations will take place from today, up to Friday 26^th December. In order to become a candidate, you must be nominated by your peers. Each member can only nominate for one person. This nomination can be changed, but it must be declared on the thread or to me via PM.  We will then enter the next stage of the contest. The three candidates with the highest number of nominations will go to the next round. If there is a tie, I will have the casting vote on who goes through.

 

Voting will begin on the last seven days of the month. Out of the final three candidates you will send your vote via PM to me. On the last day of the month at midnight (GMT 0), voting will close and the votes will be counted and the winner will be declared the next day. This time, if there is a tie at the end of the voting stage, the finalists who are tied must write a short piece, which will be then be judged by a panel of five other members, including myself. I will choose the subject matter, and it can not be longer than three pages of A4.

 

Just a few more ground rules to go through first.

• No Live Fan Fic writers: I know that they are very popular right now, but they don’t really count as a ‘Fan-fic writer.’ Any nominations/votes for them will NOT be counted.
• You must nominate/vote a writer has been actively writing this month. For example, you may want to nominate Jeteye for ’Defence of Humanity’. While it is a good fan-fic, no work has been done on it this month, so it will not be counted.
• Writers may provide links to their work, so long as work was created this month. Old Fan-Fics are fine, so long as you have written a chapter this month.
• The Fan-Fics you present DO NOT have to be finished. So long as you have done a least one chapter this month, you are eligible.

I just started to read it when Yammy mentioned it, its not my type of story..... But if people like it then thats fine. I may put a LOADS of effort into The Resistence chapter 12 to contended with this one!

And I'll try to do the same for chapter 26 of mine, or the prologue I've got to do for a co-lab I'm in.

Well I have too things before this, which adds up to about 88 Chapters I've written.

It's hard to keep up the pace.
