I'm so confused about covenant technology!

This surprisingly makes no sense, altering covenant technology is considered heresy yes, well why do the brutes have there own plasma rifle and an a adapted ghost for them, surley thats heresy and where did the covenant get all of there tanks! it must be fore runner because they don't understand it but thousands of ships and weapons! makes no sense to me really, theres probably the most logical explination in the world but i haven't heard it yet ¬_¬

Maybe they consider it heresy because we are the infidels or demons or something like that. Plus the covenant is falling apart due to Truth's "little" plot. I doubt it is considered as holy anymore. As for them coping it in the first place.....think of them as children who want do me just like their mom/dad.

The Prophets altered the Forerunner technology slightly and then mass produced it. Cortana heavily altered the plasma turret and made a Slipspace jump that was thought impossible (and thus not allowed), so it was considered heresy.

In other words, they're jealous, so they try to turn everyone against us.

Re: I'm so confused about covenant technology!

The covenant is alot more complicated than as simple as that being hesersy for example if u look as soon as any member of the covenant disobays a direct order it is killed(as seen inFirst Strike.) this could be due to many reasons. Changeing the tech is not heresy they are looking for small ways to gain the uper hand other than the ways they have. They made computer programs to hack in to human computers from destroyed ships. (as seen in The Fall Of Reach) The Brute plasma rifel is there because if you notice the Brute hands are bigger so is the rifle the color is either less heat in the plasma bolt it's self or they have a chemical that they add to the plasma to get it blue, green, and red ect...They also have the phantom in stead of  the ghoule in halo2.I speand time trying to get into the covie side of the game quite a bit so i can try and see what clues it may drop about future games in the halo series.

Re: I'm so confused about covenant technology!

ghoul? u mean the Spirit NONCOM dropship? the phantoms are standard dropships, Halo had the spirits because the covenant didn't thinkthey were gonna be in a combat situation, or at least not a serious combat situation

and to clarify, Plasma is superheated air, u can't add chemicals to the air, the weapons do very litte other then contain and massively heat the air, and then propel forward

and, i ithnk this is a fairly stupid question, first off, where did u get that modifying covie tech is heresy? second, second guess everything using HaloPedia

But remember Regret used it to retreat form Earth.

But I thought plasma was an atom completely stripped of their electrons.

    A touch of chemistry..

Wow had to edit that one.... I am really out of it today, if anyone read the post nefore i changed it then forgive me i was wrong.

Anyways. Plasma is not an atom without electrons it is a superheated ionized gas. So at least one electron was dissociated from the gas.

Because of this it is very electrically conducive, they interact independently, are electricallly neutral, and have a magnetism. Our tech that we have currently cannot contain plasma for more than a few seconds.

Technically u can change the colors by ading chemicals. Flame is a low temature partial plasma and if u throw salts into it: NaCl, KCl, LiCl, so on and so forth. They turn the flame different colors. I went out with some friends for my friends birthdays and we ordered a smores thing for her at the table. And after we were done and just chatting my geeky side kicked in and i changed the color of the flame by adding table salt.. Friends thought it was cool.

Anyway again i apologize for the wrong awnser earlier, my head is spinning, so it may seem all over the place.

    Re: A touch of chemistry..

we currently have completely non-lethal plasma weapons, lol

not to mention that MAC's are easy as hell to make, like...a ruler (with one of those nice ridges in the center that u can roll a ball down), 4 high-strength cube magnets, and 5 steel ball bearings and u can launch 1 at like....250 feetper second i believe....image making bigger strogner magnets, and bigger bad ass platforms and bearings!!!!

Now we hit up some electromagnetism.

Real MAC guns are easy to make. Well not easy but anyone with a large enough area to shoot one can make one... U can make a small one by wrapping a tube in solenoids, just wlike rolls of wire. Hook each up to a capacitor, a big one, which in turn needs batteries. Then u have a program time it so that each capcitor discharges its time one right after another, very fast mind u, with a ferromagnetic material in the starting end of the tube u will launch it decently fast.... If u are good u can easily make a very fast and accurate one.... BUT remember it is dangerous and that there is alot more physics involved if u want to make it work.

I have a theory for a more efficient one but at the moment i do not have the time to make it.

Re: Now we hit up some electromagnetism.

hey if u do it send me some pics of it... U should do it. I was gonna make my system for launching space ships into space for engineering but i analyzed it and figured it to be impossible at our state of technology to make one that can send a ship to space, the funny thing is that i was reading some NASA reports after i did this and they had the same idea and came up with the same problem..... SO Dmand = NASA Engineer.

But it is a work in progress and i am gonna commence research on it during the summer and it will make me billions.

Ninja, the only reason you passed me up in post count are those page long spam conversations you and the others have each night.
