Let me make something clear: THIS IS NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST.  This is to vote for who you think contributes the most to the forums, not who your favorite member is.

Hello and welcome to the Member of the Month thread.

Each month, we will nominate and then vote for the member of the month.

Nominations will take place throughout the month. In order to be a candidate, you must receive three nominations. Each member may only nominate one person. They may change their nomination, if they would like, but it would be greatly appreciate if they declare that they are changing their nomination, as there will be a lot of nominations to sift through.

Voting will open in the final seven days of the month. On the last day of the month at midnight (GMT), voting will close, the votes will be counted, and a winner will be declared.

Winners, currently, do not receive anything more than bragging rights and satisfaction. A prize is being worked on, but I have not come up with one quite yet.

 Something new we're going to try this month: categories.  There will be 3; MotM (Member of the Month), CRM (Comunity relations member [a.k.a. whoever you like the most this month]), and MIM (Most Improved Member [in otherwords, whoever has made the most progress as a contributing member this month]).  Please post the catagory acronym after the name of your nomination (exa. Capn Qwerty for MotM).  Any nomination without one of the category acronyms behind it will not be counted.

 We'll see how this goes, and if it's successful we might do it again next month.

Youve made your point. Though i still think it will end up makeing hostility but for now i will not say anything Bad about it.
