How many UNSC Marines?

That's the key. The UNSC had over 800 worlds full of people who could be drafted from.

The U.S .Military has only around the 120 million (or so) people that it could draft from and the entire standing U.S. Armed Forces is made up of about only 1.5 million active duty personnel. (We have almost 3 million total)

So on a whole the UNSC would probably win against the U.S. Military. If they used their full manpower.

US Military has Navy SEALS, Army Rangers...etc

ODST really are just there equivalent...and a M1A1 Abrams Tank has a much smaller profile to hit when compared to the Scorpion although I think the Scorpion's cannon can slice like one like a hot kitchen knife through butter.

The SPNKr is not as technological as the Javelin Rocket System. the Battle Rifle Can't compare to the US's OICWs weapons, a HUMVEE is faster that a Warthog...I think, but a Warthog is more durable...still all 3 positions are very open to small arms fire.  The one thing the UNSC does have better that the US military is Organization the UNSC can frikkin know the exact position of EXACTLY EVERY Soldier and can coordinate better that the current U.S. Military, not to mention...the UNSC Sniper Rifle can pretty much work like a Modern Day Anti-Light Armor Weapon...to add,  the other thing the UNSC can win hands down is mobility a small group of 2 or 3 Pelicans can set up a small Platoon in a matter of moments I mean each one can Carry 15 marines and A Warthog or a Tank...and also lay down some suppresive or support Fire

while the U.S. would need a Chinnok to deploy a HUMVEE and its Soldiers or most likely would have to use several Blackhawks to take do the same and the US's Choppers are very prone to Small Arms fire, while the armor of a Pelican I think can hold its own even against 50 Cal. (im pretty sure it can, not saying IT ACTUALLY CAN)

We've have yet to loose a single Abrams to anything other than getting a tread mangled in a lucky shot. Don't underestimate the chobham armor on those things. Also the M1 carries more weapons and is alot faster than the Scorpion which is ironically lighter than the M1.
