possibly my best one?

I listened to the lyrics (not in depth, but I got the general meaning), and I think the guy just might have been on some crack when he wrote it. Other than that though, it was great.

I mean, the lyrics are just so random. He wakes up and there's a girl made of gold? It just seemed odd. Everything else was fine.

This is my interpretation of the song.

 

What he's getting at is you've only got one life to lead and that most people spend their life getting stuff like gold and riches (called material possessions(spelling).

Also maybe he was obsessed with gold lol

I think it's actually a rather beautiful and saddening way to look at the struggle for once. Instead of over-masculated pure action, here is a taste that the war is claiming casualties. This is hands down the best Halo3 montage I have seen to date.
