    floating banshees

    They are real now look a UNSC page they have a vid of them getting shot at floating, god. They also only will shoot fuel rod cannon.

    The hovering banshee that did not move at all looked really lame.

    the ame is supposed to be in its tqeaking and balancing stage not changing the way units interact with enviornment, i seriously dout much of the gameplay will change.

    i only expect spit-polishing from here on.

    Might I remind you that they have 6+ months until release.  That is more than enough time to fix a hovering banshee that is for test demonstration only.

    no offense but might i remind you that it has been said by Dave Pottinger that there will be no more milestones and that e game is going through final stages of coloring and campaign scenarios and so on, no major changes will be made to the game.( at least i doubt it.)

    the model is most likely stuck that way, im jut sayng that with less than six months to color, finish campaign scenarios, balance all uits, and finish a game/produce it, the way the banshe flies will be the least of ES worries.

    I'm sure, in my opinion, that was only for demostration purposes, more than a couple of the AA shots hit one banshee and it still stood, and it's just not the banshee...

    Heresy. It's nowhere near as good as SCII.

    And I hope that the Banshees don't just hover and shoot fuel rods. I hope the Fuel Rods are secondary attacks, and they bob and weave in midair (Although you'd have to order them to move in order to get strafing runs)

    Even if a squad of marines out of dozens of units on a battle field has shoulder pads .25" too thick for a fanboy's tastes :)

    well there is a small chance that what has been seen is just a demo or sumthing to demonstrate the games units, if you notice the wolverines are also not firing their turrets, it may be that was just a demo for the wolverines missle pack?

    who knows, but ES should deliver  good game.

    I would be really disappointed if that many people think that's how Banshees will actually look in the final game.  Would the people at Ensemble really make Banshees with only fuel rod gun, hovering, and not doing anything about a bunch of missles flying at them?  The Wolverine page said air units will try to dodge them, isn't it a little obvious that that's not the final version?

    it was a demo to show the wolverine off, they obviously don't do that because a stationary vehicle like that would be an instant target,it was just a demo

    After they still cant even manage to get scale right...

    That's what I think as well. They really are dumbing the game down to make it noob friendly. Even though we're console gamers (or some of us are) that doesn't mean we're stupid enough to lose track of stuff that easily. The same goes for their circle menu, which doesn't seem to contain 'sub sections'...I mean: Imagine if we had to scroll through another circle menu! =o
