Hopefully Halo Wars doesn't have novels based on it specifically.

But they do have books about the Haloverse itself.

What he said. I think tha Sparten Grey team was on Harvest. Maybe. I need to read up on that again. The new book titled Halo: The Cole Protocol will follow the adventures of Spartan Greay Team.

Well, that was a rendered trailer from 2006. It didn't have any real info. in it. I belive this will have Spartan Grey Team. I don't know though. Ensemble is having a few canon problems right now.

in my own imagination spartan gray team was senton a mission outside of known space (where the covenant were) and attacked one of their colonies.

that coloney belonged to a rare species in the covenant now extienged because they blew up their homeworld.

The halo books usually aren't based of the games.  They are about events that are going on in the haloverse.  The closest they could get to Halo Wars is the setting being on the same planet.

no it is taking place on harvast (and possibly other planets) it is about the counter offensive launchd by the UNSC after the covie glassed harvast to keep us from getting it back. if you watch soem of the e3 08 demos you will find the Snow level based on a nuclear wintered style harvast after the covie glassed it.
