Why in the trailer does the spartans armor look somewhat diffrent than in halo 1 i know in halo 2 u get new armor but i just found it strange how hte visor and everything was odly shappen , then again it could just be me

some differences caxn be attributed to just the detail of the graphics. the first halo had great graphics for that time but HW is dealing with the 360 and it was a cg trailer so the detail is extremely good.

Plus, it's an older version of the MJOLNIR armor. I don't think that ES took that into consideration, though. They just through this vid together with the help of Bungie. A lot of people have argued about the specifics of the trailer, but nothing was really planted in there for us to look at. Bungie did it with the Halo 3 trailer, because it was meant to get you to think. This game is in its early stages, and nothing is set in stone. Except for the fact that it will be an RTS on the 360.

The trailer was made in cg andt here was no actual graphics in it. The trailer was made greatly in detail so thats probably why Master Chiefs armor look different.

Well, HALO WARS starts 30 years before HALO:CE so its probobly members of SPARTAN I (MC is part of SPARTAN II) and have different armor.

um....no becasue druign the SPARTAN-I timeline, humans didn't know of covenant, that happened 15-20 years AFTER the SPARTAN-II project was in use (as in spartans being used not jsut trained)

the spatran I's are just the spartans... they were a greek race that lived a long time ago that raised the male childeren to be warriors from the age of 4 that the spatans were named after...   there was never a spartan I project

common misconception..... there was a spartan I program, as confirmed in ilovebees, these were excellent soldiers that recieved very minor augmentation. There offspring are called spartan 1.1 because they also recieved very minor augmentation at birth, although they really have are not spartans. It is also said that the grandchildren of the spartan ones are called spartan1.2; likewise they recieved minor augmentation. Sageant Johnson is rumored to be a spartan 1but these rumors have not been confirmed.

THEY DO NOT HAVE CHILDREN! and even if that were possible, given that the right endowments were kept, theyd be spreading their human DNA, because the baby of them can not be born as a machine, phisically impossible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
also, now that i have proven that there is no spartan 1 project unless it was a failed project and that the succeeded project was Spartan 2 project, guess what spartans were made for and when they were made, do you have any idea? obviously not. you see if you would of read the little booklet that came with Halo: Combat Evolved, it says that Spartans were made for a specific mission, that mission was to invade a covenant cruiser and kill all covenant onboard, while finding the coordinates of the covenant homeworld so that the humans could then turn all their forces on the homeworld to destroy the vast majority of covenant and also at the same time eliminating the covenant leaders

spartans are not meant to be cyborgs, when halo 1 was made that hadn't even mentioned mc being a spartan only a super-soldier. then when halo 1 was completed they thought how can we explain who the mc is etc.. so they got eric nylund to write a novel which said that the mc is a spartan. then in halo 2 at the end the mc says this is Spartan 117 blah blah blah.

The spartans are not cyborgs they were orginally planned as cyborgs but they aren't anymore

spartans are not cyborgs, and eric nylund was not on microsofts payroll at the time, he asked (or w/e) if he could write a book and they were like...go ahead

the spartan ones were the best of the best (think The Unit) and Johnson has been confirmed as a spartan-I in the Halo Graphic Novel, check halopedia
