What if, just what if, a halo 4 game would come out but actually be told from the perspective of staff seargent avery johnson. no master chief. just johnson and his men. maybe the first few misions would be against the insurrection, then it'd pick up from the battle of Harvest.

Anyone think it would work?

 

No, for a few reasons

 

1. Halo was a triolgy. TRIolgy. TRIolgy! 3 GAMES

2. That would suck, we have no idea where Johnson has been, plus, he had to go to Earth, and that would be a bad mission!

3. BUNGIE AINT MAKING NO MORE GAMES! ONLY ENSEMBLE STUDIOS IS!!! AND THAT'S THE LAST!!!

From what I have heard and read (this means dont take it as the voice of God/whatever other religious deity you want) Bungie is making another game with the MC in it. Though its not going to have Halo in the title. It will be set in the universe of Halo but not directly influcene the trilogy that has already been made.

Kind of like Tiberium. Its set in the C&C universe but it will not have the C&C title. Get my meaning?

Everybody is right, but strangely no one has bothered to point out the fact that Johnson was killed by the monitor, and his corpse was tossed down into the bowels of installation 04 which blew up, leaving no remnant of him physically and spiritually.

1. Did you know Ensemble Studios is making a new Halo game? Even though Halo was a trilogy? Just because it was a trilogy it doesn't mean there can't be more games in the same setting.

2. That would not suck, if you read the books you would know a lot about Johnson's past and it fits well with OP's game suggestion.

3. Bungie can make as many Halo games as Microsoft allow them, and Bungie said in a recent update that Microsoft is still their games publisher, which means that as far as we know their current project could well be a new Halo game.

4. Please act mature and don't be rude to other people because you disagree with their ideas.

I think it's a great idea, and i know a lot of people (me included) want a tactical action game focusing on the UNSC Marines/ODSTs.

1. Star wars was also a trilogy, and then they added 3 more, and theyre making a 7th one right now.

2. Since we have no idea where Johnson has been, the makers of the game could come up with new material, maybe on how he got a full crate of plasma grenades and used them all.

3. Bungie is making more games, just because you arent important enough for them to tell you doesnt mean they arent making more.
