looking at the spartan gameplay video, it is aparant that you can kill your own units VIA friendly fire. if you look at the segment towards the end, when the player uses carpet bomb, he blows up one of his marine squads.

more importantly though, when the spartans are hijacking a veichle, that veichle is also being blown to bit by other troops. does anyone else see the stupidity in that? dont you think that you should be able to stop your guys from blowing up what will soon be yours?

 

also, totaly random question: anyone know how repairing will work?

i think you have a good point but if you dont want ur men to blow up what could soon be yours then you would have to manulley stop them. i think that there sould be ingineers and that you can kill units on a vehicle like killing the driver on the warthog just leaving the gunner.

It would su­ck if you ended up killing all of your troops by accident..........XD

That's too much detail for an RTS.

Manually stopping troops is not that hard, unless you hate moving your fingers overly much.....

Edit: The friendly fire system in Halo Wars is fine, no need to debate about it when there are other important additions that need debating about.
