Sorry if this has already been posted, but I saw these renders, and wondered if they are from Halo wars?

 

 

 

They were from www.bbriley.com which is a portfolio of someone who works for Ensemble.

I know they're too high poly for this sort of game, but maybe they're being used for normal map creation.

 

Either way, they're pretty cool. 

They might be, although they were in his 'personal' section rather than 'professional'.

Well, what are they renders of? I know the first two are grunts, but what is the last one?
