Their hearts in his hands/ PLEASE READ, MUST READ!

Anthony Bruce Williams awoke twitching and covered in sweat. It was that dream again. The one of his mothers last moments as she choked on her own blood, with his father laughing with insanity. He wiped the sweat off his moist forehead and got out of bed. He looked out the window of his eight story apartment complex. He took a long and deep breath inhaling the cold air in the room. He again thought of his mother, her beautiful face her kind personality and tear grew in his eyes.

But he had no time for weeping, he was late to work and had a family to feed his family . Two boys, one baby girl, and elegant wife. "Whats wrong babe, is something up, you look worried?" the young beautiful woman questioned in a caring voice. Anthony didn't turn to reply but just stood there looking out the window. He wiped a tear from his eyes. "nothing". He sat back in the bed. His wife grabbed him and slung her long sexy legs over his body. She smiled laying on top of him. They kissed with pure love.

Anthony arose from the bed  after what some would call expressing their love or "sex". Anthony hit the showers the steaming water was a welcome of the day. Then it turned for the worse, the shower shook and Anthony slipped and hit  his head on the  floor and suddenly the lights dimmed and flickered. "What the hell  was that?!" The lights flashed back on and Anthony got to his feet. "Honey are you alright?" his wife questioned. "I think you better take a look at this?" Anthony tied a towel around his waist and exited the room with no haste and entered the room where he slept and his wife and children sat on the bed watching the T.V.. They grasped their mother in fear as they gazed, fixated on the screen.

Anthony sat on the bed looking at the horrors occurring on the screen. "This is Mike Woods from channel 11 news" the man on the screen said.   " James is not here, hes dead, killed by a covenant raid". "I'm here reporting at the heat at the battle here in down town, as you can see things aren't going so good" he said pointing to the burning buildings and both dead and fighting marines.

"Run, run, I don't want to die!" a marine yelled as he came running out of the smoke that blocked the view of the battle field. "Sir, sir, may ask you few questions?" the reporter said running towards the soldier but the soldier was too fast and disappeared into the distance. The reporter turned around to noise of warthogs streaming passed him at top speed, leaving dust and shrapnel in its wake . The men in the warthogs waved at the reporter to get out of the area. Then suddenly after th men were long gone, the ground began to shake. and the reporter focused the camera zooming out and in until he got the perfect range to see the beast.

It moved slowly one mechanical leg at a time aiming the reporter and his camera man. "What in gods names is that!?" the reporter questioned, it fired its green plasma vaporizing both of them instantly, static filled the screen. The picture returned except this time it was at the news room. "I'm sorry, we're having some technical difficulties." The reporter stated."Here are list of evacuation points" he said as the sentences scrolled across the  screen.

"There!" Anthony said pointing to the screen. "Wateria sqaure, in down town get the car ready hun." But what about all are stuff....we can't just leave it here?!" Get the papers nothing else. He responded. The children and his wife left the room. He got off the bed and went to the closet and opened a a old dusty crate. He picked up a M6d pistol. It belonged to captain James Williams, his father. The gun felt smooth and heavy in his hands. That gun was just as important to him as his own family. It was a remembrance of a great man that once was. That man, his father led a wonderful life.

A accomplished man, a soldier, commander, and live hero until he sacrificed his life. By getting in the way of plasma grenade that was heading towards his squad. They said he had died valiantly and heroically when the grenade stuck him and he jumped into two covenant elites taking them with him. That was twenty years ago and this was now.

           End of chapter one

The Nissan cheetah sped through the streets of the lower down town area near wateria sqaure.

It sound alright I guess? please comment.I'm still writing.

Good work so far. No grammar or spelling issues, which is rather unusual on this site. Normally I have something to help people along with.

Looking forward to the next addition. Keep it up.

Oh, right. I never took notice of the title. I was focusing on the story itself. But you're right.
