Halo verses C&C
Prologue
Yellow sector 7 - 0700 hours – GDI sergeant Ricardo Vega
Vega ducked his head as the deadly, tiberium infused laser, shot over his head. NOD was defending this docking site with every man, woman and child but the true skill and determination of the GDI taskforce would break their spirit, defence and religion in that order. It was 5 years after TW3 and ‘the new NOD’, as they were now called, were gaining power and ,more unnervingly, support from the human populace. Vega lifted his arm over the rock that was his only protection and fired in the general direction of the enemy. His HUD told him he had 5 minutes until ion cannon testudo would fire. That was only five minutes to get the secret plans for the new tiberium super weapon that NOD was developing. But Vega knew that a lot could happen in five minutes.
Covenant ship The Devine Truth – 0700 hours – shipmaster Jerandine Falswok
A new galaxy. A new world. Another glorious path to the great journey. Jerandine would find this new substance of the gods and use it to make himself a god. The fleet of 45 covenant ships ranging from a carrier to a frigate were just hours away from discovering the covenants new weapon. Even though they didn’t need it. The humans were pushed back to their last colonies and a new species were being admitted into their ranks. There would be no dawn for the human race when Jerandine returned.
Yellow sector 7 – 0700 hours – NOD commander Humitz
Slime! All of them. GDI’s push towards the great temple of nod would be futile at best. Humitz glanced across the holographic screen. The enemy APU’s were demolishing the inner walls of the great city of NOD. Humitz prayed to Kane that he would slaughter man GDI before he had to detonate the bomb. The tiberium bomb. One that would end all blue zones all over the planet! Humitz turned to his men, “go! For glory and for Kane!”
UNSC carrier phials light – 0700 hours – ODST private Jerome
They’d been following these tentacle faces for 2 weeks now. The Navi-computer showed that they were no longer in known space but the orders had been clear. Stop the covenant extension fleet. The 50 UNSC ships were smaller but were not geared towards ship-to-ship fighting. They had brought a formidable size of troops and vehicles with them and the facilities to build and train more. Jerome looked up and down the empty targeting range before smashing another ship record. Jerome was a specialist in sharp shooting and had a kill count of 75 in 5 battles. But despite all this he was still a private. And all because he liked to fix his weapons. A voice sounded over the tannoy reminding Jerome that he would be late for fitness again if he didn’t leave now. He sighed and logged himself out.
