    Legendary not following Canon

IM pretty sure when i say this that the halo games on legendary are a little off Canon wise. for example, when you read the books it shows that when the Chief is dealing with grunts he usually only spends like 5 bullets for say, 3 grunts? its in First strike when this happens cept i forget where...

anyhow, in the games on legendary it takes like 15 MA5C rounds to kill like 1 grunt. and when they stated that the MA5C has a smaller clip but with a higher caliber bullet wouldnt it make it LESS amount of bullets per kill? also since when did it take the Chief 3 or 4 bursts of a battle rifle to the head of a jackel to kill it, hell Johnson took one out with a M6, one bullet- one splattered up jackel.

    suggestion?

Bungie actually states that Heroic is the way Halo is supposed to be played.

    Re: Legendary not following Canon

Except in Halo: CE. Legendary was true Halo then.

You are a 1 ton heavily sheilded super powered midget in space with omega weapons of doom. I would imagine it would be easy.

I just would have thought that to play as canon would be a lot harder... if you take the books as examples.

Edit: One tonne? More like 1000 pounds, plus 1000 pounds doesn't equal one tonne lol. More like 750 kilograms.

    Re: Legendary not following Canon

Some people like the game a little more challenging after a while, by the same token you could say the easy setting is un-cannon, but  some people can't handle fps games. I wouldn't get bent out f shape over it, if I were you. Think of the difficult settings as more of a 'what-if' setting.

Well you also have to realize technology has limits, it does make some things in the books hard to do and therefor are cut, which would make the game easier.

P.S. I well I believe the Mark V. weighed 1 ton, and Halo 1 is better than Halo 3 so I go by Halo 1.

    Re: Legendary not following Canon

Interesting fact: Master chief is heavier then an elite... so he should have a bigger advantage in combat against an elite with more weight behind his blows etc.
