Is this related to the picture in the Collecters Edition Age of Empires book?

In the back of the Collecters edition art book their was a pick that showed 5 different ages, starting with Greeks, Medieval, New World Discovery, then World War 2, then it went to a future picture that sorta resembled a sparten type character, so i was wundering if that was realted to this?

Which brings up the question of if this is "AOE V" and if so why would it come out before "AOE IV"

And no there is no resemblance between them in my opinion.

    Jason EL:

I fail to see the resemblance.

It kinda looks like the 2nd type of marine armor in halo 2.

I think there is a good chance of that. An easter egg that no one caught on to.

    Here's a better pic.

That sure does look like a BR he's holding there.

And look at his thigh armor, the black part.

    Matches exactly ( http://www.bungie.net/images/news/inlineimages/halo3mylar.jpg

I do believe that this has been under out noses for a while.

Because by the time this game comes out AoE IV will have already come out. =)

I just think that it's a coincidence. If it was a Spartan, there would be a sequal article called "AOE creators get sued through nose - Bungie attacks!"

Re: Is this related to the picture in the Collecters Edition Age of Empires book?

I dont think they are related because the MC's look is kind of a common look for future soliders. I mean look at a prototype of our soldier of tomorrow http://www.theage.com.au/ffxImage/urlpicture_id_1054406163181_2003/06/03/Scorpion,0.jpg

It isn't the MC exactly but he has MC elements and it is just kind of how we are progressing.

I can see a slight similarity, but when was this picture first shown? Was Halo Wars even out then?

    "The 21th Battalion"
