I Think Master Chief is going to live but if Halo4 comes out maybe a new spartan comes to be the next hero.But we'll have to wait to see.

There isn't going to be a Halo 4.  Bungie said that Halo 3 was the last game of this story arc.  They didn't even need to tell us that, seeing as they called it a trilogy.

HAHA!! There's not going to be a four. Halo 3 is, as Bungie said in the making of the Halo 3 trailer movie, the "Return of the King" of the Halo series.

 

As for him dying...I doubt it. It's an American game and usually stories in America have the hero survive. Just something I've learned from my Psychology teacher.

having the master chief die would be stupid. Even if it is the end of the series there should always be a little bit of room for gamers to wonder what might happen. Who knows maybe another game developer will continue the series to make it even more thrilling and exciting, possibly bringing on a new enemy. Well thats a little far out but whatever.

Actually, I think John dying to end the war would be better. Think of the way half the military (I fear to say Army because I know someone will las out at me and point out there is no Army and that now it is the Marines and all that...I miss sweeping generalizations sometimes...) treats the Spartans. They are thought of as freaks, neccessary tools until the war ends. John is around 7 feet tall, pale white (and I mean pale!), and kills by instinct. That is not what I call a functioning peaceful member of soceity. When the war ends, what will he do? Join the Police (don't lash out and tell me there is no Police, there is a Colonial Military Administration)?

I think the Halo's just go KA-FUCKIN-BOOM and blow the crap out of every thing! (even the master chief) this should happen in the middle of the Master Chief havin a hand to hand fight with the Arbitor!

or the Halo's should do what the covenant said and start the great journey.
