I have always wondered something about the books, but halo: first strike in particular : when Dr. Halsey takes Kelly, SPARTAN-187 i believe, abaord the ship and leaves with out telling anyone, where did she go? speculations anyone? and plus, its never been mentioned outside the book, but hopefully Halo 3 will answer all our questions pertaining to the books, or the next book coming out soon. I just would like to see other readers thoughts on this event.

No one really knows where Halsey took Kelly, but it is speculated that it involves the S-III file she found, the star chart contained in it, Ackerson and Mendez, and perhaps the next generation of Spartans. I believe Ghosts of Onyx will probably more likely cover this subject than Halo 3.

i dont think it had ne thing to do wit the s3 files  she went on a new path of  saving "every single person she could" "no more sacrificing the few to save the many"

This is true. I was a bit puzzled as to why she mentioned that if she was going after Ackerson. Perhaps she wants to stop any further group of Spartans because that was sacraficing the few to save the many.
