Just to stir up some commotion i thought of this, lets all give out guesses on what the 3rd unnamed halo project will be about and the details. And if we are good about this we can actually have a good guess about what it is.

 

Good questions to ask would be like this.

 

Ex. Will it be a FPR, MMO, or another RTS?

Ex. Will Master Chief be in it?

Story so far.

1. It will be a FPS

2. It will be in control of a marine named Josh

 3. The time period would be around the "Fall of Reach"

Battlefield: Halo. A FPS game that will play alot like Battlefield 2.

I like the marine idea but give more info about it untill i can edit my post and put it in there.

They have another Halo novel coming out.

I hope that the game is played as a third person tactical shoter.

 

It would be even better if it was based on a squad of ODSTs and their story through the Human-Covenant war.

Well based that its bein put together by bungie and the new wingnut interactive, its gona be really cinematic and possibly try to trigger emotions. Microsoft left a remark that that was their goal for new games, to make them emotional. like you grieve for your fallen soldiers. it may be just halo 4. what happens after the prophets are stopped.(if they're stopped)

The marine idea seems plausible to me because since theyre going back in time with the RTS to the time when halo was not yet an FPS they might do the same thing and make a game with marines since early versions of halo you pplayed as a marine.

Bungie clearly stated that Halo 3 will be the end of halo series story, but it wont be the end of the halo universe because they will make games about halo and such.

maybe Master chief v.s. Frodo!!! lol jk

I speculate it will be a game from the floods point of view...

It could be a MMORPG... think of it, scaled like halo wars but you play as one player...

 

i guess it could also be something hovering about  an ODST.. like some stealth agent.... like how starcraft ghost was intended to be
