 Should the flood be a playable race? In my recent discovery the Flood was nothing new to the covenant they have incountered them before, therefore there could be a chnace that the flood is actually able to form a faction and may be introduced to some of the covenant campaigns.

 Why doesnt the covenant enslave the humans like they did with the other covenant races? apparently the prophets launched a holy war against them to make and excuse for the extermination of humans which puzzled the elites, which is obvious that the prophets are hiding some important fact towards the other fellow covenant that may change thier whole religion.

I don't think the Covenant or the Humans knew of the Flood until they found the ring, though Cortana does say something along the lines of "those fools, they should have known they were there" refering to the Flood. The Flood would be a very interesting race, but I think it is already a confirmed fact that the Flood will not be in the game.

its doesnt matter what your link says.

More then likely the flood isnt going to be in the game.  Just because the link says the flood was met by the cov before doesnt mean its going to be in the game.

And if the story line is going to be Canon, like they say it is, it owuld make sense that we meet the Flood here and still have no clue about them when Halo 1 roles around on the time line now would it?

   open your pathetic tiny mind  and imagine outside the box..... if there were human campaigns regarding the fight against the covenant surely there will be campaigns regarding the them fighting against the flood not to mention the grunt rebellion and the taming of hunters. It would fit perfectly if the covenant knew about the flood but the humans had no clue till the discovery of them in halo 1. I just suggest there should be more than 2 factions because I for one dont think 2 factions would be fun to play it would get boring for awhile. With that said Bungie hasnt reported anything about the factions yet so there is a chance the flood will be able to be a faction or not and Primal DL why the hell do you post here anyways these threads are for suggestions regarding the game and if u dont like the idea of the flood being a faction then blow off the page these threads arent for people like you who have no sense for suggestions

u reject bungie said you will be playing as the unsc and against the covies at the ice plant shown on the trailer.My point was that in the covies campaign it doesnt mean that the levels take place with the battle of usnc it could be else where fighting the flood and the grunt rebellion with the taming of the hunters , yet bungie hasnt announced anything about the covenant campaign so how the hell would you know o and this is in halo verse which is related to the topic i wrote about judging you wouldnt know becuase of your poor intillect. I dont get your point though, why would they make it to where you are fighting a campagin that is set in past and future? kind of dumb dont you think

all I am saying is think logically, the game you want will be spread over to much of a time period and to complicated, yes it maybe a fun game but be serious!
