Name: Trident Anti-Vehicle Gauss Rifle
UNSC
Type: Mounted Anti Vehicle Weapon
Rate of Fire: Semi-Automatic Long Range, maximum 180 rounds a minute
Mag Capacity: Tungsten-Ferric Bolts 22/Ammo Barrel, 200/Chain Fed Ammo Crate
Notes/Description: Weighing 90 pounds unloaded and mounted on its tripod, the Trident requires a three man crew, with the tripod, ammo, and the weapon itself carried individually. Once set up, one of the crew members acts as gunner, another reloading, with the third acting as spotter and providing cover with his personal weapon. The weapon looks somewhat like an elongated sniper rifle with a barrel similar to that found on the Gauss Cannon with a second barrel beneath that houses the weapons power core. The tripod is attached near the back of the weapon, 6 inches in front of the handle. Ammo is fed into the top of the weapon above and slightly behind where the tripod is attached. Ammo comes in a barrel format for mobile forces, but can be fed by chain from an ammo crate for more static defenses. The weapon comes equipped with a targetting system housing a scope, range finder, ammo meter, infrared sight, and fire control center. Despite its weight, tripod limitations, and somewhat slow firing rate of 180 rounds a minute, the Trident's sheer ability to tear vehicles apart has kept it in service for some time, and will likely keep it in service for years to come.
Other: Range Finder, Scope, Infrared Sights
Pic: Maybe
EDIT: I changed the portion about a recoil control system, i see that that would be unneeded now.

Fire, everyone's best friend.
