I have no doubt that the UNSC would win in a full-scale war, because of the 800 BILLION people versus the 300 million in the US. The UNSC could drown the US to death with their own blood and still have billions of people still alive.

Shoot a marine with you Assualt Rifle. It is the exact same caliber as modern guns. Doesn't stop them, does it?

Yeah i know you keep talking about the video games but honestly more weapons can be added to the game. the weapons are not going to stay the same forever, an example would be Halo Wars, did we see a cobra or a grizzly in the original Halo games (Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3)? No, we did not.

For all we know there could be a locust (so want this to be true) or vampire in Halo: Reach
