mine seems fine, if i win a bunch of games i go up. if i lose 1 game i go down. if this continues i get to win a lot from easy people.

everyone that is very high up on the arranged team leaderboards boosts to make their TS go up faster.

whoo finally moved from 27 to 28 today thats a total of 11 wins and 2 loses before I moved at all. It goes soo slow. 25-27 I got in like 5 games and then I hit a wall i guess.

The problem isn't so much Trueskill, but the fact that nobody good plays this game anymore. You'll find that half of the 1v1 population stopped playing when the Prophet was nerfed, so it's much harder to rank up- because a lot of the people left behind are low Trueskill.
Also, Rank (not Trueskill) doesn't mean anything. I've played Colonels that tried to tech to Vultures against a Gauss spam.

the good players didn't quit because prophet got nerfed! back when I was a TS 45 (believe it or not...) I was wining straight sets of 5-10 and not ranking up. when I lost I would plummet up to three ranks! until I fell to where I am now...

then I got terrified that I would lose again and fall even farther. and the fact that even if I won I would never rank up again was a bit of a show stopper. so I sat a 40 and stopped playing 1v1... there didn't seem to be much reason any more.

and do you know what the worst part is? If I had stoped playing before I lost 3 games and won 10! I would be higher rank now I if I had played them!

the good player didn't quit because their best strats got nerfed they quit because there is no reason to continue playing when the only way to go is down!

Yea same here. I've been stuck at 32-33 forever.

n' I'm plugged at 16-20 in 1v1! 2v2 I'm getting better, but.... GAH!

Anybody notice how ridiculously slow Trueskill ranks you up? In 1v1 I have 46 wins out of 69 games (or something like that), not bad right? Especially for this being my first RTS besides Endwar, which wasn't really an RTS. But I absolutely SUCKED when I started and TS just won't forgive me, I'll go 5 straight wins over people with 2-3 stars yet no promotion. But if I lose 2 games close to each other I'm demoted.
And the worst part is, right now I'm a 20 in 1v1, and I have friends with MUCH worse w/l records than me, and they're a 21. WTF

my 3v3 party has been stuck at 31 for a while.

I reopened an old account just because of this, I wanted to see how high i could get my trueskill.

I went something near 37-2, and then ran into 3 top players in a row. In which i lost all 3. (close games, but still a loss.) With 5 loss's, there no point in even trying to continue.

I played a few since then, but it already stopped going up.

I am now 40-5 in 1v1. I might try pushing it alittle further, but i dont think it will be possible to get over 40-41 now.

ive been stuck at 37 forever!!!! I went 5 wins in a row 1 loss then 4 wins in a row then one loss and now one more win and I havent moved out of 37. Im started to get reminded of halo 3's skill ranking system and the way it was completely broken, id win like 5 games in a row and no move but then lose once and you get demoted.
