This may have been discussed before, but I did a quick forum search and didnt see anything.

Has anyone else noticed the similarities between the UNSC vehicles and aircraft and the look of the military technology in the new movie Avatar? Watch the preview. The aricraft looked so much like Hornets that I thought it was actually a preview for a Halo movie.

I also spotted cyclops, warthogs and pelicans. Really it is almost identical.

HaloWars matchmaking is causing my 360 to crash

Did any one else notice that in the movie 2012, the ark's [fogot what number] captain looks like captain James Gregory Cutter? They look so similar!

The End of Halo?

Yes... I'm writing one of these. Also, the search for this ran inconclusive.

A lot of people were in a palpable rage when it was announced that Halo: Reach would be Bungie's last Halo game. But think about that. Bungie's last Halo game.

Now, while others have undoubtedly reached this conclusion, it occoured to me while watching the interview with 343 Industries Frank O'Connor (which interestingly enough had the Halo Wars music) that 343 will pick up future Halo games, books, etc. So I believe that Halo lives on.

Discuss.

Ridiculous suggestions

Just in an attempt to bring humor back to the forum (and because I'm bored), I'd like to see some suggestions for gameplay some people can think of that are completely idiotic yet still possible.

My idea is, make Spartans able to jack Regret's gravity throne.

OK! why don't we all make a "wish list" for what we want in halo wars two? just for fun of course. nothing serious. jokes are acceptable, so are actual wishes.

my wish- i want to be able to use Sargent Johnson.. with the special ability to be able to hug enemy elites... then stab them while they have their gaurd down.

Galactic conquest is from Empire at War. What it is, is you have an overview of planets under your/enemies control and build bases to defend each planet. You can build ground and space armies and invade enemy planets. they way you win is by controlling all the planets, or destroying the enemy completely

when a grunt reaches 3 st@rs it kills leaders quickly and can withstand a full MAC blast!

when you put a brute/elite honour guard/suicide grunt in it and reaches 14 st@rs it can survive four MAC blasts and killing everything!

Why do individuals, when they've completed their post, add to the bottom of their post, "please don't flame me," as if it's supposed to work like a bug repellent?

If someone is going to flame you, they are not going to hold back simply because you said "please don't flame." If they've already got it in their head to be an ass to you, then there's not much that you can do to stop it...

You might as well ask your bank to tip you extra.

Hawks in Halo3???

Believe it or not but their are Hawks in Halo 3, now if you want to check for yourself, you need to play the Halo 3 Campaign. Play the level 'The Convenant" Mission start, Right when you land, the Women on the radio says (Listen clearly now) "I have 2 pelicans left and i have just lost my last Hawk" Now maybe i heard wrong but it sounded nothing like Hornet. I hope you check it out for yourselves and post back if you get any results ;) Thanks

Hi im a Captain rank in Halo wars and am finding it really hard to gain exp. I have about 59k exp to go b4 I rank up, but i average around only 250 xp per game!

Any tips on how to improve my xp gain? :s
