Not nessesarily. They could easily use LoDs so that if you went into FP, it would just up the loddage and things further away would be a lower lod.

 Though, i feel that maybe adding a FPS type view where you would just get down and dirty with direct controlling of aim etc, would make it too similar to Halo 1,2,3. It needs to be its own game.
