crusaderking: Klubhouse16: As an avid Anders player (Well over 1000 games with the leader...I think...) I believe I can contribute something meaningful.
What you people need to learn is that a leader should never be entirely based off of one freaking unit (the only reason why people play anders in 1v1 is the amount of success potential she has, and of course, Gremlins. but of course there are certain people that just like the leaders play-style) I welcome this nerf (or any other nerf that works) with open arms.
all this will do really is capitilize the phrase "Adapt and Counter." come on guys, this is what RTS is all about. Besides, Anders bonus really makes that statement come to life...it doesn't make sense that the Leader with the greatest potential for diversity and Adaptation...has the ability to completely dominate the game with all counters ready the second the game starts.
(Warthog - effective air-killer, Gremlin with Chain-Amp - dominates vehicles, and Flamethrowers - okay they are just ridiculous mmk?)
let this nerf come, and I'll still be here, winning and losing with Anders (she just my leader, one I started with basically)
Its not even as though the unit is dissapearing, but think about it, build one reactor, send a marine in a hook, and you can build gremlins now.
Gremlins help Anders a lot, but nerfing them might not be enough to even make her balanced, or maybe it will make her balanced or even UP, we dont know.
I apologize if I came off as extreme, but I'm pretty sure I didn't act like the apocolyspe of the Gremlin was here (if you got that from my post...sorry for that, gotta choose my words more carefully)
I really don't care what happens to Anders, if she is evened up, thank God. If she is UP'd, well then I can be happy knowing that I can use a disadvantaged leader effectively :D.
and yeah gremlins are awesome units (I love the stun-Jack) lol. you just won't be to dependent on gremlins now. (in fact, if Forge and Anders were tech 2 at the same time, Gremlins and Spartans in unison will still do a good job on countering non-spar tanks.)
