Korther:Brutes Vortex sucks early game.  It's a money waste, and if he just bursts you just have to keep moving.  Warthogs work just fine micro'd.

As far as experience goes for me, the first upgrade to the vortex actually does pretty decent againts infantry. as far as Cash loss goes, well you got me there, I'm not a 1v1 brute player.

 

It works just like it does for marine spamming Arbiter.  He wastes all his money.

alright then, I'll take your word for it, then I guess it is very possible to early-kill a BC
