OmniscientFoe:How about Robot somehow buys out Stardock and they make a Sins of A Solar Empire game only in the Halo verse.  And they would feature land battles too.  So it would be a combination of Sins, which is better than EaW space wise, and combine the land fights of Halo Wars.

i dont know enough about Sins, but i have heard that matches are HUUUUUGE. Like, a galactic conquest in EaW is a 1v1 skirmish in Sins, huge.
