    Spartan R41:

Ah, I used "blasphemous," that would be why the search didn't find "blasphemy." Anyways, I love it when people attempt to appear supperior out of contempt.

In feeling blasphemous by grudgingly accepting a human's high intellect, the Arbiter felt that he was toying with notions that humanity wasn't simply the "dumb vermin," that the Prophets had portrayed them as. As the Prophet's word is supposedly the word of the gods, to go against it in the slightest manner was blasphemy. Also, the deffinition you gave for Blasphemy was almost identical to the one I gave, with more specification. It is possibly - technically - to blaspheme against something non-religious, just not as commonly used.

Now, some synonyms of "Impudent," as the definition I gave - which is a correct one, words sometimes have more than one deffinition - is inadequate for you. They are insulting, rude; saucy, pert; presumptuous, fresh, brazen. In assuming that she had been taken without reason, Anders acted - in the perspective of the Arbiter - impudent. Impudence is acting with audacity, being presumptuous. Anders displayed this according the Arbiter's thinking.

An example from the cinematics; The Arbiter said, "Hierarch, I do not wish to be impudent, but you have charged me with the destruction of humanity," He then went on to assume that his actions were unhelpful to the great journey. He was presumtuous, acting boldly out of ignorance. He was impudent.

Now, I don't "go to," a dictionary. I pick up a published one, the Merriam Webster. Somehow I think it would be more accurate than Dictionary.com. I still haven't forgotten what you think I am, so if you're going to continue along this nitpicky, malicious road, then I suggest you just quit while your ahead. I put this [my stories] out here for constructive feedback, not someone trying to make me out as an idiot based on a specified, alternate definition. As I said before, some words have more than one meaning. Blasphemy is apparently one of these.

Anywho... Great novelization. I enjoyed reading it and look forward to Archangel
