Halo Wars is my first RTS, and I'm a big Halo fan, so the Halo name definitely pushed me to buy it. However, I had read a few previews about it, so I knew what I was getting into. I figured I could be introduced to RTS through my favorite gaming franchise. I loved Halo Wars, but I'm not rushing out to buy Warcraft, Starcraft, and Age of Empires. I'm not much of a PC gamer, but if Robot or 343 Productions makes a sequel to Halo Wars, I will buy it. I guess I should at least try PC RTSs before dismissing them entirely, but I just don't see myself getting into PC gaming. If another console RTS catches my eye, I might try it, but FPS and RPG games will always be my gaming preference.
