That's nothing compared to the amount of people who spell "gauss" as "guass". It's soooo irritating to see it (i dont actually know why, but it's particularly annoying. Probably because people who said it were complaining about gauss hogs).

 I think it's pronounced "gowse" but i pronounce it "gorse". Old habits die hard. Worst are the people who mispronounce "rendezvous". It sounds sooo bad when they say it "ren-dez-vos".
