On a reactor map locus will rape an anders doing hogs, or any UNSC leader for that matter.  like I said before though you cannot just have locus IMO.  You need to give them some back up.  2/3 locus and 1/3 something else will definently get the job done vs hogs(on non reactor maps).  Overdrive is a must though vs anything over gunner(not to use overdrive just to get the dmg and hp bonus).  Then i would get the shield upgrade (the one from the temple).  Locus are a decent matchup vs hogs if you can get enough out.  Against gauss they are more of less even IMO but anders should never get gauss if you play corretly.  This is why I like to start out with hunters vs hogs and make a VD sometime after so i can keep killing hogs and keep the anders remaking units rather than upgrading them.
