Ideally, DLC should be free.

Realisticly, its never going to be free.

Nothing in life is free, the sooner you realise and accept that, the better youll be for it.

Ideally, there should be no such thing as DLC, because it should all be involved in original game. Like, if I'm going to pay for a game... I wanna pay for the game as a whole.

Did Blizzard release 18,000 different DLC for StarCraft? No. They're releasing StarCraft II. And not like this whole Halo/Halo 2/Halo 3/Halo ODST bull that they've got going.... They're releasing a single game over ten years after the release of the first.... not a single year.

The gaming industry's getting to the point where it's less about the game, and more about the profit. It's horrible....... Decline of gaming :(

lol? You can't compare a RTS with barely any storyline to an FPS with a huge storyline. You could've should've picked a better example, like Guitar Hero or something. THAT is being milked. The Halo franchise is not. If you think it is, you have no idea what milking is.

 And, as FJ said, DLC is an extension to a complete game. Fallout 3's DLC is awesome and I'm glad they've brought it out as all 5 of them are top notch. Stuff like Horse Armor are terrible DLC (Yes, I know it's one of the best selling ones of all time). You that everything should've been in the final game as games would never be released due to delays, after delays, after delays as new ideas will be constantly brought to the table.
