How about unlocking a new menu option, that allows a selection list of Logos (think the 100's of combinations for character logos for halo 3) where you pick the background, then the foreground, then the color for each. And this would show up on your units. 

But this is also not Bungie...I'm no where 100% sure about this, but I'm surprised Bungie even let another studio develope a Halo game. Did the now ROBOT Entertainment buy rights to a Halo game? Or did Bungie just allow them to show Halo from a different perspective? *cough* yea right.

The answer to this might answer the prior poster.  Of course it's just picture combos and colors...how do you stop someone from doing that?
