    And how is that a problem?  I actually prefer it that way.  By limiting the number of slots you have available, you can't simply build whatever you want whenever you want, you have to decide on what's important.  I also like the choice between resources, tech, unit production, and upgrades.

    it is BEYOND infinitely worse.  No secret bases, no proxy attack spots(except the elephant and we all know how great of a unit that is!!).  No harassment without taking on a whole base.  no macro game.  no harassment.  no disruption.  no weaker and stronger bases.  this game just does not play out like any decent RTS does/should.  It plays out like unit wars, which is exactly what it is.
