Hahahahaha I'm such an idiot-

I believe myself to be a Halo Wars Veteran yet it never occurred to me that Cobras don't attack air!  I was pumping out hornets to counter this dude's cobra blockade and I had ten but he had fifteenish?  And I would send one of my old vehicles in trying to get LOS to carpet bomb them (because by now it was fully upgraded) and my teammate was like "why aren't you attacking with the hornets...?"  I had my fine gentleman moment then flew in and pwn'd.
