floo9465:People keep saying over and over "reduce ODST cost" or "reduce building cost/time". This all defeats the purpose of balancing the game as these suggestions are incredibly unbalanced. I keep saying over and over that I think the only thing you can do to Cutter that isn't OP is give him adrenaline. It's a bump to his early game and that's all he needs. Letting him get ODST earlier is bad, making buildings cheaper is better than Ander's bonus (depending on the discount, but it would have to be a percentage), and reducing building build time is OP with his base starting one teir higher.
I've thought about tweaking the elephant's upgrade costs but this wouldn't be as good as people think since the first upgrade has nothing to do with armor or fire power, only speed. That really doesn't make the elephant more effective because the turret upgrade still requires tech 2, which means mid-game, which means hide your elephant unless you have ceramic armor. Reducing the elephant's upgrade cost to improve Cutter sort of defeats the purpose because then Cutter will be expected to make an elephant. Adrenaline, however, effects 3 different units allowing more diversity for an early game bump.
Does anyone legitimatly disagree with me? I'm completely open for this to be critiqued, it's just how I feel. If Anders or the hog gets nerfed on top of this, then this may not be needed at all.
The thing is i think making build time shorter, but making non reactor buildings cheaper isnt really OP. However, I personally dont think its the best solution, Because it has infinite potential, unlike the others. You can use forever. I just think Anders gauss needs to be nerfed.
