UNSC would win hands down. Mostly because of superior computer technology, meaning they could hack any of todays systems, they would know everything about todays defences, plus they could jam any transmission by todays military, meaning they wouldn't be able to organize making any attempt of a counter offensive impossible.

Plus UNSC has vastly superior numbers, better armor, more mobility and can orbital bombardment anywhere.
