Hey guys, been quite a while since i've posted on here lol.
I know that there are two seperate threads for covenant and UNSC imba's but i wanted to make my own thread, because i wanted people's help rather than just stating what i think are imba's in the game.
I've played as both covenant and UNSC and have skill rank 43 but have only played 27 games which is probably why i don't understand the mechanics of the game very well yet, but anyway lets get down to business.
My main 'gripes' are with the covenant (who i play with the most). They have several 'set ups' and abilities which give them a huge advantage over UNSC. First is the fact that they can get out wraiths and/or banshee's in tier 1, when the UNSC have no real hard counter to these units, you can spartan jack the vehicles, but a decent played with decent micro will stop that from happening. Playing as Anders, you do have a soft counter at air in the form of the cryo bomb.
The tele pad next to the covenant base is another thing which gives the covies an advantage over the UNSC, it allows you to teleport your forces to you leader free of charge. It's like the ODST power, but without the teching or the cost! (or the ODST's) Maybe having to tech up to the pad might sort this out?
Lastly is that covie leader powers are 'insta powers' all the time, the UNSC powers can be used and then have a recharge timer, but the covie powers are available as long as you have the resources to use them. The disruption pod works, but it's recharge is stupidly long!
