Correction: Halo Wars was the first Halo game to be made almost entirely without any interaction with Bungie, and Ensemble, left to their own devices, have succeeded in crafting the glossiest and most beautifully presented piles on nonsence I have ever seen.
It really seems to me that they put an awful lot of effort into making it look like a Halo game, and very little effort into making it a Halo game.
The story is terrible. They created so many plot inconsistancies and I just can't tell you how many times I found myself yelling at the sheer ridiculouslesness of the story progression.
admiral bunny:Somethings I had to think for and
remember what I read in the books but Halo Wars isnt suppose to be like
the first three Halos. As for the guy who said there are
inconsistencies I dont see how. I dont see Halo Wars being over yet so
the story is only partially told thats why it may seem like it doesnt
follow what the books (which I may add dont even go with the games that
good themselves) or the games yet cause its not done.
First of all, what are you, ten? lrn2 english. Second, Halo Wars is RIDDLED with plot holes. Some I suppose are acceptable considering they are for gameplay reasons (spartan lasers), but to this day I still resent that Ensemble thought it was okay to put the flood in. If you were familiar with the backstroy, you'd know how blasphemous an insinuation that is.
I apologize.
But I'm not sorry.
And I meant all of it.
Okay, I don't apologize
