Raptor341:>> Does anyone else find it odd that the SoF can fly in the atmosphere even though she is far too large for that?  The same can be said of the frigates in Halo 2 and 3, although they are much smaller and would be alot easier to fly with vectored thrust in atmosphere.  Since humans dont have Anti-Gravity ( like the Cov ), how would she be able too unless she is outfitted with very large vectored thrust engines, which also brings into question would it even be possible?  ( Think of how much payload of a rocket is just fuel )  If i can remember correctly, large human vessels ( aka, Frigates and up ) never fly in atmosphere in the books for the same reasons.  Any thoughts on this? 

well actually its not to surprising because the SOF is a pheonix-class colony ship (modified to be a war vessel though),these ships would often be de-assembled & built into the city as is what happened with harvest,the core of the colony ship that went there became the central city reactor
